Angela Farmer

A former swimmer and fitness instructor, Angela practiced yoga on and off for many years but fell in love with Hot Yoga in 2010.  The benefits she received were amazing: increased breath awareness, flexibility, and reduced stress kept her coming back and helped transform her sporadic practice into a daily one.  Inspired by what this wonderful, sweaty practice was bringing to her life, she wanted to share this with as many people as possible, and graduated from Maritime Yoga College with her RYT 200 certification.

Taryn Verkerk

Taryn Verkerk first began her practice while completing her BFA in dance at Ryerson University. Her passion for movement and artistry drew her towards further development in the beauty of yoga. She received her RYT 200 certification in 2013, during an intensive training in Costa Rica under the exquisite guidance of Angele Boltz. Recently, Taryn moved to Charlottetown to teach dance for Holland College's School of Performing Arts. She feels very fortunate to begin her journey teaching at Dynamic Fitness.  Her classes will always encourage a light heart and open mind, while finding balance and potential.

Triona Harrop

A born fitness enthusiast from a very early age, dancing and movement was an innate way of expression.  Inspired by the clients that she works with, she guides and witnesses their true potential as they progress on their personal journey.  her education & certification includes: Stott Pilates Instructor, Mat & Reformer, Baron Baptiste Yoga Certified Instructor, Certified Hot Yoga Instructor, Yamuna Body Rolling Instructor and retired professional dancer.  Triona teaches Hot Yoga, Core, and Reformer.

Kathy Hossack

Kathy has always loved fitness and movement. She first became interested in Pilates, and between 2008/2010 completed her teacher training in Pilates Anatomy and Movement. This training included, Mat work, Foundations, Pilates using Stability Balls, and Core Integrity Pilates through Body Harmonics in Toronto. Although she enjoyed all of this training she would later take her first Yoga class. At this time she knew she had found her true passion, and in 2011 completed her first 200hr teacher training through TAYS in Halifax. From this point she expanded her knowledge and completed two levels of teacher training for children through Radiant Child, and 15hrs through Live Love Teach. Later finishing a 100hr YTT in Yin Yoga through Satori in July of 2014. Currently she is taking another training, and in July of this year (2015) will complete another 200hr Vinyasa Yoga teacher training. “I am sure I will never stop teaching or training as I am already looking for options of future trainings. I look forward to sharing this passion of movement with everyone”.
Practiced in a room heated to a temperature of 40°C. A great practice for BEGINNERS because of the basic sequencing of poses designed for the more intense environment. In this 60 minute sequence designed by the Dynamic Yoga family of studios, stretch deeper, detox mind and body. And you have a little extra time to relax too!
