Congratulations to Rob for just being named canfitpro rookie PRO TRAINER of the year 2017!
Rob has been following his passion over the last 15 years as a personal trainer. It was suggest to him as a youth to pursue a career in the fitness industry after he displayed such passion for fitness and sports. Rob graduated University with a BSc in Human Kinetics and a minor in Nutrition. Rob is a Certified Exercise Physiologist and a canfitpro PRO TRAINER. Originally from Nova Scotia, Rob spent much of his career in Calgary where he worked in various roles in the fitness industry. In addition to personal training, he took on positions as Strength and Conditioning Director, Program Manager, General Manager and Director of Club Operations before moving back to the east coast. Now back in the Maritimes Rob spends his time coaching clients, teaching and certifying the next generation of personal trainers and nutritionists, writing, lecturing and, of course, spending time with his wife and two kids.

TO OUR TRAINING CLIENTS: You must have an Unlimited Training membership & be Logged In with the email we have on file for you in order to sign in for these classes. With the sessions getting busier, it is imperative that you SIGN UP ONLINE prior to attending class. If the class reaches capacity & you have not reserved your spot in advance (just like SPIN) you will be turned away. For the 6:15am classes you must reserve your spot before 8pm the night before - be sure to check the status of this class prior to attending! If it is your first time trying our ESA Training - our beginner-friendly sessions are Mon/Fri at 9am and Tuesdays at 5:30pm - please call or sign in online in advance, an Essentials Drop-In rate is available. With by far the most combined experience of any trainers on the island our training program will provide you with the equipment, instruction and motivation needed to solve all the above questions!
This 3 week/6 session program will gradually introduce you to our ESA Training program (Eli Sport Adults). You can stick with this program or slide into our Unlimited Training program after you complete 3 weeks.
(you can join the unlimited program without taking this course but this is a great way to get started)
